Born in Fontainebleau, France and educated at the Lycée Français in London—where he was raised—Peter Leonard-Morgan brings a distinctly international perspective to his real estate practice. Fluent in French, Italian, and Dutch, he has long operated seamlessly across cultures and markets. He relocated to the United States in 2001 and has built a career defined by discretion, precision, and service at the highest levels of the luxury marketplace.
Peter began his career representing some of the world’s most prestigious automotive marques, including Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. He later served as European Sales Director for Lamborghini, living in Bologna, Italy for three years while overseeing sales strategy and client relationships across Europe.
He subsequently spent more than two decades in business aviation, advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on the acquisition and sale of Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Raytheon business jets, as well as Sikorsky and Agusta helicopters. These complex global transactions demanded confidentiality, strategic negotiation, and meticulous attention to detail—qualities that now define his real estate representation.
Today, Peter specializes in distinctive country estates, equestrian properties, vineyards, and wineries throughout Northern Virginia and beyond. His extensive experience working with international clients, including buyers from China, gives him a sophisticated understanding of cross-border transactions. He is a graduate of the Sotheby’s International Realty® Global Advisor China program, positioning him to effectively serve Chinese buyers and sellers within the global Sotheby’s network.
A committed civic leader, Peter served on the Middleburg Town Council from 2016 through 2025, contributing nearly a decade of leadership in the heart of Virginia’s Hunt Country. He is a Board Member and Past President of the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® (DAAR), reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and industry stewardship.
Peter is also a Silver Preferred Agent with Concierge Auctions, Sotheby’s International Realty’s approved luxury auction partner. In 2024, he earned his Delaware broker’s license and now serves as Broker of Record for Delaware at Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty.
Peter lives in Middleburg, Virginia with his wife and two children, blending international experience, executive-level negotiation skills, and local expertise to serve his clients at the highest level.
