THE PATH HERE
A journey across borders
Peter Leonard-Morgan was born in Fontainebleau, France, and raised in London, where he was educated at the Lycée Français. He moved between languages and cultures from an early age — and remains fluent in French, Italian, and Dutch — an instinct for crossing borders that would shape every chapter of his professional life.
In 2001 he settled in the United States. In time, the rolling hills and stone walls of Virginia’s Hunt Country drew him to Middleburg, the historic village he is now proud to call home.
"
Real estate, to Peter, is less a transaction to be completed than the careful transition of a place from one chapter to the next.
A CAREER AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
Marques, aircraft, and a standard of service
Peter began his career representing some of the world’s most celebrated automotive marques — Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Lamborghini — and went on to serve as European Sales Director for Lamborghini, living in Bologna, Italy for three years while overseeing sales strategy and client relationships across the Continent.
He then devoted more than two decades to business aviation, advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on the acquisition and sale of Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Raytheon aircraft, along with Sikorsky and Agusta helicopters. These were intricate, often international transactions, and they called for the very qualities that define his work today: discretion, careful negotiation, and an unwavering attention to detail.
THE PRACTICE TODAY
Estates, equestrian land, and vineyards
Peter specializes in the country estates, equestrian properties, vineyards, and wineries of Northern Virginia — places where a property’s value extends well beyond the residence itself. He is equally assured with the finer points of land use, zoning, conservation easements, vineyard operations, and equestrian assets, guiding clients through transactions that are seldom simple and always personal.
His international background continues to serve his clients well. Having worked extensively with buyers from around the world, including China, he brings a genuine fluency in cross-border transactions and is a graduate of the Sotheby’s International Realty® Global Advisor China program. He is also a Silver Preferred Agent with Concierge Auctions and, since earning his Delaware broker’s license in 2024, serves as Broker of Record for Delaware at Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty.

ROOTED IN THE COMMUNITY
A steward of place
A committed civic leader, Peter served on the Middleburg Town Council from 2016 through 2025 — nearly a decade of service in the heart of Hunt Country, and a close acquaintance with regional planning, infrastructure, and the long-term care of the land. He is a Board Member and Past President of the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS®, reflecting an enduring commitment to the standards of his profession.

A CAREER AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
A few words more
Peter lives in Middleburg with his wife and their two children, fully a part of the community he serves. Those who work with him tend to describe the same things — a courteous, unhurried manner, a quiet sense of humor, and an unmistakable affection for this corner of Virginia and the life it affords. It is, by his own happy admission, the finest place he has ever called home.
