Thanks to a background in business aviation, I was approached by an old friend in my former world to assist his client in selling an almost new hangar at Winchester Regional Airport, KOKV, which was no longer needed.

Having been out of the business jet and helicopter sales world since obtaining my real estate license in 2016, I was thrilled to get my feet wet again and be able to sniff some AvGas and JET A-1. Ooh that smell, as the song goes.

I was delighted to adapt my real estate marketing prowess to the hangar project, and was able to produce some excellent photographic and video material, thanks to the help of my wonderful real estate photographers.

Subsequently, I was approached by the developer of the entire hangar complex, Adsurgo, to take on several additional hangars at OKV, so with this expanded portfolio, my thought was that a team would be best positioned to handle these properties, whereupon I was delighted that my colleague and partner in the bigger deals, Charlie Thies, with his USAF background, agreed to collaborate.
